Week 5 Blog Post

So far, I'm not going to lie, I have been having some difficulty figuring some of these assignments out. These assignments are quite time consuming and not exactly what I expected, but I enjoy a challenge and an oppourtunity to learn and acquire new skills. I do like finding new ways to explore the internet, such as blogging and labs. Since our society is becoming so dependent on the world wide web and all types of electronics, this online experience is helping me to better adapt to this everchanging social structure. Sometimes I feel as if, this class revolves more around just using and accessing the internet rather than incorporating better ways of teaching. More integration with people and other teacher input about dealing with online education, I believe would enhance our perspectives and better prepare us for our future in the classroom. This is my first online experience, so I really can't compare this class to any other class. I do feel like I do better when i have classes one on one in a classroom though. I don't think that I will ever take another online class, but only due to the fact that I am so used to working in a classroom and because I just have an easier time in classroom atmosphere. I can't really think of any other classes that would work well as online courses, but maybe some kind of science course due to the fact that they tend to work with computer based assignments sometimes (at least in the past, my science classes have! :D).
